October 5, 2009 A Bridal Fashion Shoot

This shoot was a collaboration between fashion-forward wedding dresses designer, Johnna Ho and I. Johnna was kind enough to lend us a few of her awesome dresses from her Spring 2010 collection for our shoot. The location was on a roof top in a undisclosed neighborhood. Big thanks to the amazing crew for helping us realize our vision.

October 1, 2009 Sandy + Mieng :: E-session

Sandy and Mieng's e-session is definitely going down in the book as most memorable. Despite our valiant effort, nothing went according to plan. Basically, we got kicked out at three of the four locations we were planning to shoot at. And at the very last place, we were actually apprehended by a security guard for trespassing and was held for about an hour until the police arrived. Luckily, the police were really cool and they let us go. One thing was for certain was that Sandi and Mieng stayed cool throughout the whole ordeal. Thanks guys! I promise the next time we meet it won't be this disastrous:)

September 24, 2009 Jenny + Andrew :: The Hitch

We had such an awesome time hanging out and bonding with Jenny and Andrew on their wedding day. These two are so incredibly generous, sweet, fun and completely in love with each other. It was just a good-ol-time from beginning til end. Oh, and we really didn't mind having buffet-style sushi and prime rib for dinner. YES, YOU HEARD ME! Our team this time around included Quan Nguyen as second photographer and Nick Wilson as my assistant. Jenny and Andrew...we felt privileged and honored to be at one of the most important days of your lives.

September 12, 2009 Katie + Josh :: Long Beach :: Engaged

When Katie suggested that they want to have their e-session in the LBC (Long Beach City) I jumped at the opportunity. Just love the idea of exploring the city streets and finding new inspiration. Since I have never shot there before, every nooks and crannies were up for grab. So we got started near downtown, drove through some very sketchy back alleys, and ended up at the Queen Mary.
